Welcome to the tour combining a sled ride with the dogs and your chance to operate a snowmobile.
The best option for you if you don’t have much time in Kiruna and you want to try both dog sledding and driving a snowmobile in 2.5 hours!
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kiruna and will drive you to our kennel. When you arrive at the kennel the first thing we provide you with are some warm clothes for the tour. Once you’re geared up, it’s time to meet our super friendly and playful Alaskan huskies. They will give you a proper warm welcome and our puppies are masters of it!
If you like, you are more than welcome to help us harness the dogs. When the dogs are ready on the line then the only thing that you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy this amazing and silent ride through the enchanted arctic wilderness. Once all geared up and ready to go, half of the participants will start with a sleddog tour and the other half with a snowmobile tour.Our trail goes through snow covered pine and birch forests and over frozen lakes.
We will head into the enchanted Arctic wilderness towards our Sami tent, the half-way point, where we will all meet and after enjoying a warm drink and cake, time to swap, those who got there with dogs will ride the snowmobiles back and vice-versa! Amazing views of the taiga and tundra of our area, including Sweden’s highest mountain, Kebnekaise.
Silence is our king in the arctic, but make sure that you ask all your questions about our dogs. Our guides are more than happy to answer them all! You will also have plenty of time for pictures, plenty of cuddles with the dogs and plenty of action and fun guaranteed!
The tour lasts 2.5 hours and at the end we will drop you off at your hotel in Kiruna.
