Do you want to drive your own team of sleddogs?
Then we have the perfect tour for you! Our priority is our sleddogs, they are our family. You have the chance to stand on the sled and drive a team with our top trained sleddogs. Our dogs have participated in the world’s longest sleddog race 6 times in Alaska as the only team from Sweden and is top of the line of well trained sleddogs in Europe.
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kiruna and will drive you to our kennel. When you arrive at the kennel the first thing we provide you with are some warm clothes for the tour. Once you’re geared up, it’s time to meet our super friendly and playful Alaskan huskies. They will give you a proper warm welcome and our puppies are masters of it!
If you like, you are more than welcome to help us harness the dogs. During the tour we travel through a remote area outside Kiruna with a lot of wild life around us and with the chance to see Swedish highest mountain Kebnekaise on the tour if the weather is clear.
One person can drive the team and one person sits in the sled where you have the chance to take photos and enjoy the ride. Then we swap so everyone can drive their own team of dogs. We have our own trails. We will make a stop half way to make a fire and take something warm to drink.
Silence is our king in the arctic, but make sure that you ask all your questions about our dogs. Our guides are more than happy to answer them all! You will also have plenty of time for pictures, plenty of cuddles with the dogs and plenty of action and fun guaranteed!
Optionally you can include lunch of various types, made from local food in the area by our chef.
The tour lasts 3,5 – 3 hours and at the end we will drop you off at your hotel in Kiruna.
